            Bug ID: 336805
Summary: Find by 'File type' should only show generic types
                    (text, image, audio, video, etc)
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: kfind
           Version: 2.0
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: goetzchrist at gmail.com

Tying to find something using the 'File type' option (in Contents tab) shows a
really huge list of files types, which is not practical nor useful for the
majority of users.

It would be more practical to only show generic types (not specific), like it
is shown at the beginning of the list, but in a more user friendly order, like:

All, Files, Folders, Plain text, Office docs, Images, Audio, Video, ...,
Symbolic links, Special files, Executables, etc.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
An unpractical huge list.

Expected Results:
See an easy to navigate list, where it can be possible to find in little time
the desired option.
