I'm copying files and the information icon on the system tray shows my progress
(in all activities). The copy process hit a snag with copying a symlink, and an
alert window popped up...but not in my current activity. I didn't understand
why the transfer had stalled until I re-visited the activity that I believe I
started the file transfer on. I would have thought that the alert window, like
the expanded "Copying" information, would have shown on all activities.
