Linux Mint 17 kde with kde 4.13.3,  kded4 increases memory comsumption very
rapidly  and after less than 1 hour all the memory resources (6 gigas) were
dedicated to kded4 and the system freezes . After isolating services, I found
that favicons.desktop was the cause. It started to happen perhaps after an
update, but I'm not sure.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Copy favicon.desktop to kded4 services. Restart Kded4
2. Delete favicon.desktop to kded4 services. Restart Kded4
3.

Actual Results:  
Everything runs smoothly without favicon.desktop
