That does not make sense.  All prior versions of KDE always restored all
- including non-KDE - applications to the correct desktop.

This bug exhibits the effect of only restoring KDE applications, and
piles all others on top of each other on the last desktop in use at
shutdown.  How can a non-KDE app 'keep this info as well'?  This
misbehaviour is damaging to the reputation of the best desktop
environment there is.  Would I rather use a Mac? No- and I shudder at
the prospect of the horrible Gnome desktop, while Windows is beneath
contempt.

There has been nothing as good as KDE since I encountered KDE2.  Please
restore it to its full glory.
