Bug ID: 327339
Summary: [project neon] i wish there was a segment for
reporting bugs in project neon also here on
bugs.kde.org and/or launchpad
Classification: Unclassified
Product: kde
Version: 4.11.60
Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
Reporter: simonandric5 at gmail.com
Hello!
Since i often use project neon i would also like to contribute with bug reports
from that session of kde to its developers. But the problem is in bugs.kde.org
they dont have any subfolder/segment dedicated to them and also in launchpad
their group is a closed one. It means you cannot report a bug under "Project
Neon" Team (https://bugs.launchpad.net/~neon). Only (KDE & Amarok nightly
builds ) (https://launchpad.net/project-neon) supports the bug reporting, but
that part of the peroject neon had little bug reports and no answers and also
that segment has no updates for a long time ago - i want to say i dont think
they check bugs reports reported there because its a different part of the
launchpad - a different PPA. As in launchpad i have no other place to report
project neon specific problems (like program A in normal KDE (4.11.2) runs like
this but in project neon (4.11.60) it doesnt have these functions even though
4.11.60 should be same or better/superior to normal kde.
So i ask as a feature request to be able to report problems here on
bugs.kde.org for project neon also. also since mny problem discovered in
project neon can lead to faster bug discovery before they are discovered in
"main" kde - i think this is also a purpose of project neon...for testing and
bug discovery...
thank you
nice day
Simon :)
