IMHO, it makes no sense that every application (Gwenview, Dolphin, the file
dialog, Folder View, etc.) finds its own workaround for this issue. I'm not
exactly sure what the root cause is, but KIO::PreviewJob or the thumbnailing
code in kde-runtime look like places where this could be fixed in a way such
that every KDE application benefits from it.
