            Bug ID: 322968
Summary: changes to custom directories revert
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: kmenuedit
           Version: 0.8
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: austin.hoppe7 at live.com

Creating a few directories under a preexisting category allows me to move
desktop files under them with kmenuedit, but after saving and closing and
changes I make do not present themselves, and subsequently launching the
kmenuedit shows the directory layout as if I had made no changes. Subsequently
deleting the errant directory occasionally spawns empty copies with a number
appended to the name.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create new directory (e.g. under Development or Games) and move some desktop
files under it.
2. Create another directory, or move desktop files away from first directory.
3. Attempt to delete custom directory, even after moving desktop files
contained therein back to their default directories.
Actual Results:
The original directory remains, and occasionally spawns empty copies of itself.
Changes are not saved.

Expected Results:
The application launcher menu should reflect changes made under kmenuedit,
especially after a reboot.

Arch Linux x86_64 + kde-meta, fglrx
KDE 4.10
