If you can provide the information requested in comment #1, please add it.

Additionally, there is a way to let applications just crash and save the
backtrace or coredump into a separate file, without the need to manually
operate on a dialog. I am not sure how exactly it is done, you could ask on
kde-devel mailing list or in the KDE forums for helping with this issue.
