I reported this removed feature years/months ago, but apparently someone
deleted my report without rationale. One of many superior KDE3 options is one
can set the desktop to show a colour gradient, and then put whatever one wants
over it, such as a picture/slideshow, and set its size, such as the size of its
pixels or resized to the desktop edges, or tiled, etc. KDE4 only lets you do
this separately (and picture/slideshow widgets cannot be resized.) Please
restore the feature of having all the multiple aspects of desktop configuration
that previously existed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install an OS with KDE4.
2. Try to set a gradient and then picture/slideshow or other second feature on
it.
Actual Results:  
I hated how my desktop looked.

Expected Results:  
The desktop should be able to look as nice as KDE3.
