            Bug ID: 328503
Summary: Hints should cycle through all available pairings, not
                    pick at random
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: kmahjongg
           Version: 0.8
          Platform: unspecified
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: whatteaux at optusnet.com.au
                CC: kde-games-bugs at kde.org

When using the hint function (to save wear-and-tear on my eyes), kmahjongg
currently just picks a pairing at random each time. It can take many hint
requests to see all available pairings (even when there are only a few) as it
seems to sometimes show the same one repeatedly. Instead, each hint request
should show the next available pairing, in sequence.

I've used many mahjongg programs over the years, and they have ALL shown the
available pairings in sequence, never randomly (except this one).

Some also show matching tiles when any tile is selected or hovered over. Some
also allow right-click on a (covered) tile to show covered tiles. These
features would be nice to have - especially since so many other mahjongg
programs have them.
