No, these numbers are not an exaggeration. There is often need for downloading
more debug symbols, but my internet is rather fast (60 Mbit/s down) so it still
shouldn't take that amount of time.

Even when not downloading any -dbg packages, it takes a very long time. I have
two KDE machnies, an EEE PC 1005px and a 4-core $GB RAM SSD desktop. I've used
kubuntu and mint over the years and it was consistently slow. My experience
with crash assistant has been the same on both machines. I don't have any
unusual settings.

It's a good point that generating the backtrace in the end makes sense if the
backtrace is a duplicate. I don't know what to do then, because it really
discourages me (and probably thousands of other users) from sending automated
bug reports.
