My apologies. This is the first time I've had a problem.
FYI. The font resizing itself just stopped, I don't have a clue. It works now.
The login on resume option I found and corrected.
There was a power option problem with the display going blank with no power
options set. I stopped the power service, restarted and started the service,
which seemed to correct the problem.
If I have any further problems I will use the Ubuntu forums.
