KDE version 4.8.5 supplied with openSUSE 12.2 crashes and offers crash handler
for bug reporting. Backtrace is available but the reporting system cannot be
used as it depends upon kded running to submit the file. The crash is always
repeatable but the trace seems rather short (pasted below)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot machine KDM prompts
2.Login as a user
3.Crash occurs after the last iconn of the KDE start-up splash has been
displayed before most services have begun.
