Correct.  # is the beginning of a fragment, in a URL.

Just like '@' needs to be encoded as %40 (
http://konqueror.org/faq/#HowcanIconnecttoanFTPsitethatrequiresaloginandpassword
), '#' needs to be encoded as %23. I'll add it there.

This is unintuitive, of course, but using reserved characters cannot work ;)
and the more typical way to do this is to type the password in the password
dialog anyway.
