I am not sure I understand.  I have never seen dragonplayer ever properly play
a 3gp file.  The audio is always noise.  3gp files are what is produced by
mobile phones - mine from Android.  Is the claim that somehow all of these
files are out of the 3gp spec?  I can post some others if that helps.
