            Bug ID: 303132
          Severity: minor
           Version: 4.8
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
Summary: Kickoff keyboard browsing doesn't work while search
                    terms are entered
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: unclemarcus91 at hotmail.com
          Hardware: Fedora RPMs
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: general
           Product: kde

When opening the kickoff launcher, I can navigate the items using my keyboard
(up to select the item above, down to select the item below) just fine, but as
soon as some search terms are entered this feature appears to stop working - no
amount of pressing the up/down keys actually does anything. Pressing a
seemingly arbitrary key (I've noticed Esc, Del, Page Up and Page Down work)
does enable this functionality, as does erasing the extra search terms.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Kickoff
2. Enter some search terms
3. Try up/down arrow keys to navigate the results
Actual Results:
Search results can't be navigated using up/down keys (unless an arbitrary key
is pressed first or one of the items is highlighted by moving the mouse over
it).

Expected Results:
Search results can be navigated using the up/down keys right away without any
steps between doing this and entering the search terms.
