console error message and ugly kdialog box

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.3)
OS: Linux

When I call kdialog from the prompt like this
kdialog --passivepopup "<b><font size=10 color=green>Build
Successful</font></b>" 10

I see the following error

QPixmap::handle(): Pixmap is not an X11 class pixmap
QPixmap::handle(): Pixmap is not an X11 class pixmap

I just upgraded from Kubuntu 11.04 to 11.10 and start to see this issue. I read
this was possibly an issues with Qt and may have been fixed? If so how can I
fix this issues today. I've add the kde source to my respoitory but performing
a update does not fix this issues of find any new updates?

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
When I call kdialog from the prompt like this
kdialog --passivepopup "<b><font size=10 color=green>Build
Successful</font></b>" 10

Actual Results:
I see an ugly box in the center of the screen, when it should be to the bottom
right of the desktop. In the console I see

QPixmap::handle(): Pixmap is not an X11 class pixmap

Expected Results:
Should see a nice toaster alert on the bottom right on my screen
