Upon closer analysis, there are a handful of machines here that don't exibit
the behavior.  Which is suprising since they are all built off of the same
kickstart image.  I'm not really sure what is different as they are all Dell
Optiplex 990s with nvidia video cards running the same proprietary drivers and
synchronized with a local yum repository.  The behavior is seen regardless of
if the computer is a multi-monitor or single monitor setup.  Just as a test, I
updated one machine to KDE 4.8.5 and the behavior did not change.  Do you have
any suggestions that might help me debug it?
