[Bug 290680] Dolphin doesn't show custom folder icons on a NFS share

KDE 4.8.1 (4:4.8.2-0ubuntu2) on Ubuntu 12.04
I can reproduce this on NFS and NTFS.
BTW: The .directory files have icons on NFS shares but not on NTFS mounts.
It should be configurable what a user considers to be a slow connection or it
should be measured by download speed.
IMHO NFS-via-GBIT-LAN and NTFS are fast enough to display folder icons!
