- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Trying to get Phonon's VLC backend to work; I can't get audio from KDE apps and
I get the error, "Phonon's VLC backend failed to start."  Audio works in
Chromium and other non-KDE apps while running my Plasma desktop.


- Unusual behavior I noticed:
Phonon audio doesn't work and troulbeshooting it causes this error.

In my .xsession-errors file I have:
