            Bug ID: 297718
          Severity: normal
           Version: unspecified
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
           Summary: Action Restrictions lock_screen does remove menu
                    option
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: mmenaz at mail.com
          Hardware: Other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: general
           Product: kiosk

Reference document:
http://techbase.kde.org/KDE_System_Administration/Kiosk/Introduction#KDE_Action_Restrictions
(btw, the page is a bit broken, images are not shown)

I need to lock down, at least as default value, some stuff for a school LTSP
installation (thin and fat clients).
In /etc/kde4/kdeglobals (but also in the user kdeglobals, is the same) I've
put:
[KDE Action Restrictions]
lock_screen=false
switch_user=false
start_new_session=false

Now user don't have in K -> Leave the option "Switch user", but the one "lock"
(screen) is still present.
In addition if selects "lock" in the next dialog, the one asking the password
to unlock, there is the button "switch user" and then, if pressed, the option
"start a new session".
If I add [$i] or move the above settings in the user's profile, I have the same
problem.
