Summary: Clear Recent Documents no effect
           Product: sweeper
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian testing
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: jdkaye10 at gmail.com

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.5)
OS: Linux

In the Recently Used tab of KickOff the list of Documents has nothing to do
with the contents of ~/.kde/share/apps/RecentDocuments folder. The Kickoff tab
does not respond to any changes of that folder.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Manually empty the ~/.kde/share/apps/RecentDocuments folder. Open new documents
(clicking on them in Konqueror). Opening them from desktop shortcuts or
KickOffs menu items. Nothing ever changes in the Document section of the
Recently Used tab. Note that the Applications section works normally.
1. Look at the Documents section of the Recently Used tab of Kickoff.
2. Right-click in that section.
3. Click on the "Clear Recent Documents" item.

Actual Results:
Emptied the ~/.kde/share/apps/RecentDocuments folder
Did not change the Clear the Documents section of the Recently Used tab of
KickOff

Expected Results:
Emptied the Clear the Documents section of the Recently Used tab of KickOff.

Doing the same operation with Sweeper has the same (lack of) effect. The items
in the Documents section of Recently Used tab of KickOff remain until a reboot.
After the reboot the section remains empty for a time and then gets populated
by older documents that may have been used several days before the reboot.

KickOff behaved normally until around 10 days ago. I have never experienced
this problem before.
