when I first boot up  and connect via dial up the first thing I do is run Kmess
2.0.6.1
but when it get to awaiting contact list it fails saying no connection, some
times after 3 goes at it it works and other times never does, but when on
mobile broadband modem stick it works all the time, why?

abale to login first attemp when no other apps running
