Summary: Using wifi adapter as wireless antenna
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: caterpillar86 at gmail.com

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.2)
OS: Linux

I am a Fedora KDE user. When KDE 4 was relased, Fedora started using nm-applet
of Gnome for internet connection, instead of using KDE connection manager.
Nm-applet allows special wifi connection, let me do an example to clarify:
I have a laptop connected with cabled ethernet connection, and with nm-applet I
am able to use the laptop wireless antenna as a wifi access point.
I asked on IRC if this is possible also with KDE connection manager, but seems
it is not possible.
So it would be cool if in future KDE developers will include this function in
KDE.

Reproducible: Always
