Summary: When I boot up I have ~35 akonadi_contact processes
                    running without performing any actions.
           Product: kde
           Version: 4.6
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: judobrian+kde at gmail.com

Version: 4.6 (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

Hello I have a new openSuse 11.4 install and when I boot into KDE and look at
my running processes, I have ~35-35 akonadi_contact processes running before I
have done anything with my PC. There seems to be a similar issue here:
http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=93355 but I am not in an easy
position to create a new user and no other solution was posted there. I do not
run kmail and Im not sure what else would use akonadi_contact (the taskbar
clock maybe as mentioned in that thread?). Is there a way I can prevent this
from occuring?

Thanks!

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
I boot my PC and they show up immediately.

Actual Results:
35 akonadi_contact processes are started, each about 15MB is size.

Expected Results:
? 1 process started?

I don't dance very well.
