Summary: some changes made in KDE Menu Editor are not reflected
                    in actual menus
           Product: kmenuedit
           Version: 0.9
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: giantpune at gmail.com

Version: 0.9 (using KDE 4.6.2)
OS: Linux

I'm using KDE Menu Editor 0.8 in Kubuntu 11.04. I have created a menu called
"Disk Tools". Then I gave that menu a pretty icon by clicking the icon and
selecting a new one from all the icons that KDE had laying around for me. Then
I dragged some of the disk-related programs from other menus into my newly
created "Disk Tools" menu. And I clicked "save".

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Here is a screenshot of the menu and KDE Menu Editor with the menu created. I
suppose a picture is worth 1,000 words.

Actual Results:
In reality, I can find the menu where it should be, but it doesn't look like it
should. The menu's icon is not the one I have selected in KDE Menu Editor.
And Not all of the programs I put under the menu are shown there.

Expected Results:
I expected to click through the menus and see my new menu with the icon I
selected and all the programs I put under that menu.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.38-8-generic
Compiler: cc

Ps. The page to create this report would not let me select the proper version
of this program. I have version 0.8 installed.
