Running OpenSuse 11.4, KDE 4.6.0, Kmail Version 1.13.6

"Address Book" allows creation of a "New Group". After a list of email
addresses has been entered and the entry completed, the initial indication is
that the email addresses are applied (entered into the database) appropriately.
However, moments later ALL entries disappear and the email address field
becomes blank. Attempting to use the newly created group in a "send" results in
a single address of groupname at hostname - which, of course is worthless.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Create a new contact; enter email addresses in the appropriate field(s); close
the window; 

Actual Results:  
Observe that all entries appear in the window - as if everything is O.K.; then
observe that all entries "disappear"; attempt to use the new "group" and
observe that there are NO valid email addresses

Expected Results:  
All entries in a newly created group are properly added to the group contact
database. Use of the group in a "send" results in all addressees being emailed.

Tried MANY times - using different names, addresses, etc. Always failed in the
same way.
