KDE release 3.5.4 is five years old, and no longer maintained/supported by the
KDE team. Sorry, you might ask your distributor for a newer version or support.

The last KDE 3.5 release is 3.5.10, released mid 2008, so two years worth of
bug fixes are included compared to your installed version.

The current maintained KDE versions are 4.x, with KDE 4.6.5 the previous stable
release, and KDE 4.7.0 just recently released.
