Summary: korean characters missing in filenames
           Product: kde
           Version: 4.5
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: virtuousfox at gmail.com

Version: 4.5 (using KDE 4.5.2)
OS: Linux

i have bunch of files with names with mixed english+russian+korean and
english+russian+chinese characters. KDE 4.x software (dolphin, konqueror,
konsole and `ls`) skips korean altogether as if it wasn't there but if i open
directory with firefox as file:///<path> when i can see them alright.

chinese characters shown properly and it does not happen in KDE 3.5. also, it
might be a regression in newest KDE 4.x since i vaguely remember it working
right before but i may be mistaken.
all my KDE and firefox fonts are DejaVu and LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1) make english+russian+korean filename
2) look at it via KDE software

Actual Results:
and see no korean

Expected Results:
see everything
