It is solved. If it's not solved in your binary distribution, please ask your
distro people to include the patch I linked to (comment #2) into their compiz
packages.

The best think to do (if you don't want to compile compiz by yourself, which
I'd not recommend) is to open a bug with your distribution (against their
compiz package) and point them to the link above to include the patch into
their packages. They should know what to do with it.

If your want to compile yourself, just grab compiz 0.8.6 from
http://releases.compiz.org/0.8.6/ and compile it, it already includes the fix.
However, I would not recommend to do that unless you know exactly what you're
doing.
