Version:           4.5 (using KDE 4.5.85)

Vlc freezes when with Kde 4.6 beta 2, you click on Media - Open file, this is
the shell output:
[marco at sondarch ~]$ vlc

KGlobal::locale::Warning your global KLocale is being recreated with a valid
main component instead of a fake component, this usually means you tried to
call i18n related functions before your main component was created. You should
not do that since it most likely will not work

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Open Vlc and click on Media-Open file

Actual Results:  
Vlc hangs and I have to kill the application to stop it


It has been posted also in Vlc forum:
http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=85408#p282713 and a developer
answered that is a Kde's bug.
