           Summary: Clicking on a URL in Okular starts infinite number of
                    konqueror/kio_http processes
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: gethemant at gmail.com

Version:           4.3.2 (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

Aforementioned bug by was triggered by PDF of "ACM Communications" November.

* How to reproduce
If you have November issue of ACM communications open the PDF in okular and in
the first page, there is an ad of reviews.com. Click on it and watch infinite
number of konquerors filling your task bar. "ps aux" shows those processes as
kio_http.

* Expected behaviour
First only one konqueror should open the url, second it should respect
preferred browser settings (which might need a bug report of its own).

* Remarks
I have not tried reproducing the bug with other pdf files url embedded in it.
Twice I am able to reproduce it with ACM communications pdf, experience is so
horrifying that I do not dare try again.
