Summary: fn key ignored if a modfifier key is down
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: reeves.87 at gmail.com

Version: (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I have macbook pro which uses the function keys as harwared controls as well as
there normal function. For example F2 and F1 control screen brightness if the
fn key is not down. If it is they are supposed to be treated as normal function
keys. This works unless a modifier such as alt is also pushed in which case
they always control brightness. I don't know if kde or X11 is responsible for
this.
