.I can see that the problem exists in Kubuntu 9.10 beta - There must be some
kind of similarity to the affected systems - my guess is something that has to
do with the graphics driver combined with plasma-desktop and Kded4 which causes
the severe leaks Krunner also has leaks but not nearly as severe. Further more
it must be something else than widgets on the plasma desktop because the
problem is still there when there are no widgets - not even the panel.

I think it's strange that this is not considered a critical bug in Kde - if
restarting plasma-desktop once every 15 minutes is not critical - what is then
critical? maybe very few system-configurations have this problem and therefor
not considered critical? but the fact that my laptop has a very normal main
stream hardware this ought to annoy a lot of people - or...?

My laptop is as mentioned an Acer Aspire 9410AWSMi with an intel core solo
T1350 cpu, an Intel 950 graphics system, DDR2 memory and other totaly normal
hardware not worth mentioning but nothing thats not very ordinary (very boring
;o)

The only thing i could imagine that could have something to do with the memory
leak would be my 'Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950' - does anybody have any
overlapping hardware that could cause the problem.
