In KDE 4.3 Favorites are shared between kickoff and classic launchers, but they
are not editable in kmenuedit any more - instead you edit them in place.  I
notice there is no 'remove from favorites' action in classic mode though.

The data models for favorites and menus are different and it would be a PITA to
support them both in kmenuedit.
