Summary: sftp now failing to make connection - takes multiple
                    tries
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
        OS/Version: unspecified
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: drankinatty at suddenlinkmail.com

Version: (using KDE 4.3.3)
Installed from: Archlinux Packages

For ages fish was messed up, and you had to use sftp for reliable network use.
Now in 4.3.3, fish seem OK, but sftp will not make a connection on the first
try. Sometimes it takes 3-4 tries. This problem just appeared within the past
few weeks. (it could have been in 4.3.3 longer, but I just moved to 4.3.3 a
couple of weeks ago)

I have screenshots showing the problem which I will provide. In the screenshots
you will see I attempted to connect to my server using gwenview as I always do
and I get an ssh error. (gwenview just happened to be what I was using when I
took the screenshot, it happens in all kde apps). Then after the failure, I
used file open for the second attempt -- which worked.

There is also another screenshot showing the error you get when you use the
regular file-open dialog.

This problem is a biggie. I can confirm it occurs on both SuSE and Archlinux.
