I can confirm to reproduce this behaviour with the steps described in
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=188499. Just press Alt+Tab just after
switching to the virtual desktop and the keyboard will stop working. After
trying some time, I couldn't reproduce it reliable, but quite often. The chance
is higher, if you have more than one window opened (on the desktop, you are
switching to) and you are switching from a desktop with less opened windows. At
least that seems what happens here.
