Two examples:
1) In the regional settings module of system settings the default shortcut for
"Alternative shortcut" of the keyboard layout switcher is Ctrl+Alt+K. This has
no effect until is set it manually. If I choose Ctrl+Alt+K this will work then.
2)I assigned Alt+A as activation shortcut for the virtual desktop applet in the
configuration dialog of the applet.
This had no effect (except that Alt+A did no longer work as keyboard
accelerator in applications)
