KDE 4.1.2 is not customizable at all as compared to KDE 3.5.9. 

Can you make future versions of KDE have the ability to look and feel like KDE
3.5.9, but without the bugs and security issues? This includes everything from
the clock to all applications, panels, applets, desktop customizing, etc.
within KDE 4.1.2. 

The newer version of KDE is a step-back in terms of the freedom to customize
your desktop as you so choose to. 

Please keep these thoughts in mind as you all continue to develop freely
customizable desktops.
