Re: Comment 49

Configurability is not everything. I can deal with the reduction of options, no
matter how asinine or poorly thought out they are, and I can deal with having
to jump through extra hoops to configure the options that do exist (moving
widgits on the panel, anyone?) as long as I can either see that the feature is
not there, or have to do it just once.

When I have to look up how to make some no-longer intuitive change to find out
if it is even possible (like fixing the damn desktop default) we have a
problem, and when when software crashes and failure to save settings require me
to re-do the configuration multiple times a day, we have a huge problem.

I would *love* to see stability, as well as fix all the regression bugs. KDE4
has potential, but right now, it is more buggy than vista on release day.
