           Summary: shadow colors are inconsistent
           Product: systemsettings
           Version: 4.2.0
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: hanscastorp82 at yahoo.com

Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Drop shadows supplied by the "Shadow" plugin of desktop effects are
inconsistent in color. Sometimes shadows are white depending on background,
which is distracting, but also the window in focus (active window) has less
shadows than other windows. The "Active Window has Stronger Shadow" click-box
has no effect on this.

It is especially noticeable if I open a single window on the desktop and then
click elsewhere; shadows immediately darken and become more pronounced on the
window when focus is lost.
