Summary: KDE needs it's own Print Dialogue
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: unspecified
            Status: NEW
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: kde-3 at dotancohen.com

Version: (using KDE 4.2.90)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Currently, KDE 4 uses the Qt Print Dialogue. However, Trolltech is either slow
or not interested in added features to the dialogue that KDE users need and
expect. For instance, bug #171925 states that there is no even/odd page
selection in KDE 4. However, the upstream Qt bug is almost a year old and has a
very low priority:

Please add a KDE print dialogue so that KDE can add the features that it needs.
Note that KDE 3 had it's own print dialogue, which was hailed as a usability
gem (along with most of KDE 3).
