Summary: Follow sun feature of the "globe" desktop background
set's it delay value to 1 second, nevertheless what
                    you enter.
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: weber-jonathan at gmx.de

Version: 4.3 Beta 2 (using KDE 4.2.90)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I tried the "globe" desktop background. It works very nice, but when I
configured the globe to follow the current sun position, I wasn't able to set
the delay value to anything else than 1 second. I tried it many times now, but
it resets itself to 2 secend every try. This horribly slows down the system
because the position is re-rendered every second.

Reproduce:
1. RMB on the plasma-desktop.
2. Select the View Settings from the drop-down menu.
3. Select "Globe" as Wallpaper-Type.
4. Set "Rotation:" to "Follow the sun".
5. Try to set the value "Update every:" to something else then 1 second.
-> This will work, but when you close the dialog and open it again, the value
is 1 again.

Hope I didn't oversee any existing bug for this problem...
