Technically, Plasma calls them "Applets". But since "Widgets" is an established
word, it is used in the user visible space.

A "Plasmoid" is actually the package that you download. It may contain applets,
images, translations, scripts, dataengines, etc.

I am adding Plasma devs to CC to discuss the issue.
