Sorry for taking too long to comment on this bug.

Has this crash only happened to that specific DVD? If so, maybe the disc was
faulty. Were you able to watch it in any player or physical DVD player?

Is you can still reproduce this crash (specially with the -dbg packages
installed, as described in
http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports),
please post a more detailed backtrace here.
