Fair enough. I have found that Kuickshow does a slide show too, almost what I
needed.

I *am* running KDE 4.2.2, but since I upgraded from an older Debian, it must
have left the KView into my system. (and no, as a Debian user, I don't
reinstall my machines unless I really have to :-)
