I am a newbie to Kubuntu.  Had installed Ubuntu and installed Kubuntu over it. 
Was working fine for a while, but I noticed that a feature in Ubuntu, showing
the status of my cordless mouse battery, was not showing anymore. I tried to
add that feature with a program that sounded like it would do that, but
although it made my desktop look more like it did under Ubuntu, I still did not
have that feature.  Since that time I have had more and more problems
occur...probably doing stupid things unknowingly.  Would really appreciate help
in getting this resolved!
