No. This happens only on KDE 4.2. I haven't noticed such things in earlier
versions, either 4.x or 3.5.x

P.S: I upgraded drivers to 180.29 yesterday. I'll drop a line here if something
changes.

P.P.S: I think drivers is not the case. Problem take place on font rendering
only, not the screen bitmap itself.
