Summary: bad font size selection in 16:9 wide resolutions i.e. HD
                    TVs
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: ThaDaveMan at gmail.com

Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Hi,

I use an HDready HDTV as my computer monitor using the rosultion of 1280x720
(or 720p).
When I load KDE 4.2.0 (and earlier) the fonts are HUGE.
I chose the smallest size possible (size 2) fonts and then the fonts were
normal but the spaces and layouts on the screen stayed the same size.
so I had normal font size but huge space between icons in dolphin and others.
Also, not all the titles and panels changed size when I chose to change it even
though I changed all the font types to size 2, so I had some fonts with normal
size and some stayed huge.
This made everything completely unusable.

Dave.
