After adding a newly-installed application to the menu using kmenuedit and
saving, all of the icons except for those listed as system icons disappeared. 
There are no longer any icons in the "other icons" field, and the dropdown no
longer has any entries at all.  The icons themselves are right where they
should be (they weren't deleted), but kmenuedit doesn't seem to be able to find
them anymore.

This is an extremely frustrating bug.  Like many other users I rearrange the
menu according to my own system and use the icons I prefer.  With all the icons
missing except for "system", I have to manually browse to the appropriate
directories for each and every app.  Haven't been able to find a fix yet on
Google that works.
